I Jonathan Baron of the Town and Borough of Lostwithiel, Clerk, do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament (revoking all former Wills by me heretofore made) in manner and form following, ???. First I Give and Devise all my Lands and ??? in the Parish of Houldsworthy in the County of Devon and also all my Lands and ??? in the Parishes of Egloskerry and Lannest (Laneast?) in the County of Cornwall to my Eldest Son John Baron Clerk and his heirs for ever. Also I Give unto my Son Jonathan Baron of Plymouth the Sum of one hundred pounds and the fifty pounds he owes me by ??? of [hand or land]. Also I Give unto my Daughter Mary (?) Baron the Sum of ffive hundred pounds in Money and also all my Right and ??? to the Dwelling house and Garden adjoining Situate in the fore (?) Street and in which the Miss [Hoods?] now Dwell. Also I Give unto my Grand Daughter Edith Baron the Sum of fifty pounds and in case of her Death before she arrives at the Age of twenty one years my Will is the Said Sum of ffifty pounds be Given unto my Grand Daughter Elizabeth Baron, and if she likewise Dies before she arrives at the Age of twenty one years, my further Will is the said Legacy (?) of ffifty pounds Goes to the next Surviving Child of my Son James Baron. Also I Give unto my two Sisters Elizabeth Marshall and Mary Baron the Sum of five Guineas each. Also I Give unto the Poor of the Parish of Lostwithiel and Mevagissey (?) the Sum of five Guineas each parish. All the rest of my Lands and E???s whatsoever I Give and bequeath unto my four Sons John James Jonathan and Ralph Barons and their Sons and I do make my said four Sons Joint and Sole Executors to this my last Will and Testament Share and Share alike. In Witness hereof I have hereunto put my hand and Seal the day and year aforesaid, Jonathan baron. Signed Sealed Published and Delivered (?) by the said Jonathan Baron to be his last Will and Testament in presence of us who Subscribed our names (?) and Witnesses thereto in presence and at the request (?) of the said Jonathan Baron, the above named Testator.

This Will was proved at London the twenty third day of ffebruary in the year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and seventy one before the Right Worshipful ??? ??? ??? of Laws Master ??? ??? of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury lawfully Constituted by the Oath of the Reverend John Baron ??? James Baron and the Reverend Ralph Baron Clerk, three of the Executors to whom administration was Granted of all and ??? the Goods Chattels and ??? of the deceased (?) they having been ??? Sworn by Commission duly to administer (Power (?) reserved (?) of making the like Comment (?) to Jonathan Baron the other Executor when he shall apply for the same.
