He died at Bermuda at about the same date that 25(/78 his sister Emily Tripe [136]) died in India. Side note re 25(/78 his sister Emily Tripe [136]) neither could hav eknown the other to be ill."
The Honourable M Dallas is probably the "Hon. George Miffin Dallas, Vice-Pres. of the U.S., and Ambassador to Russian and England. (Algernon Sidney Tripe was born on 29 Feb 1820 in Stoke Damerel (Stoke), Devonshire, England, christened on 20 Dec 1820 in Stoke Damerel (Stoke), Devonshire, England and died on 8 Jun 1850 in Ordnance Island, , Bermuda.)
