Ottawa, June 15. - Lieut.-Col. Frederick Toller, former controller of Dominion Currency and at one time officer commanding the governor-general's footguards died here this morning. Col. Toller was 79 years of age and was a well-known figure in military and financial circles in Ottawa. He was one of the oldest and most highly respected officers of the G.G.F.G., and took an active interest in the unit for 20 years. Frederick married Annie Fairbanks Chipman, daughter of Zachariah Chipman and Mary Elizabeth De Wolf, on 11 Jul 1872 in St. Stephen, New Brunswick, Canada. (Annie Fairbanks Chipman was born on 7 Oct 1847 in St. Stephen, New Brunswick, Canada and died on 17 Jan 1931 in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.)
